(1) Levi WALLACE, 12 Dec 1856 in Roane County .... Marriage record shows
parents as John and Lucy
DUNCAN, and says Rebecca was born in Pike Co., KY.
(2) John COTTRELL, 23 May 1867 .... Marriage records shows Rebecca was
divorced, and her surname was
WALLACE and she was from Logan Co. (KY or WV?) Her mother is listed as
Lucy JUSTICE.
Is anyone researching DUNCAN or WALLACE who can solve this mystery and the

I am researching a Leonard SIMMONS, born 1806 in Pendleton .... In my
family Bible it says he and his family (wife Mary Elizabeth VANDALE) were
located in Roane County somewhere in 1829-1832 .... He was located in
Greenbrier County in 1829 and in Wood County in 1932 .... In 1850 the Wirt
County census stated his taxable property listing .... I am looking for
information on his ancestors ....
