Unknown Child of John C. Lester

| John C Lester of Pike Co., Ky, married a Rebecca Elliott of Montgomery Co., Va, daughter of William M. & Catherine "Kitty" (Simpkins) Elliott on 8 Nov., 1829, in Pike Co., KY. There was a son George E. Lester b. Nov. 1831. Rebecca may have died in childbirth or shortly thereafter. William M. Elliott of Montgomery Co., VA, raised George appearing on the 1850 census as a member of the household. He is also mentioned in William's will as his grandson. The knowledge of this other child may have become lost. George married Octavia Dobbins 4 March, 1858, Montgomery Co.
There are two other children listed on the 1830 Pike Co., KY, census, a son b. 1825/30(possibly James ?) & a daughter b. 1820/25 who obviously cannot be Rebecca's children. Mother of these children not known.
